Artist Aida Izadpanah possesses a diverse repertoire of media and styles, having worked for many years in acrylic, oil, mixed media, watercolor, photography, floral design, and porcelain painting.

Aida has exhibited abstract paintings in numerous solo and group shows, and sold her abstract and porcelain work domestically and internationally. From a young age, she learned to paint on fine porcelain (china) by studying under internationally acclaimed experts, specializing in European styles as well as ethnic Persian motifs and modern designs.

Aida teaches private and institutional porcelain painting classes in her art studio on Union Square Park in Manhattan, where she also fires pieces in her own kiln.

In 2012 she earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology.  This theoretical training complements Aida's aesthetic sensibilities in drawing inspiration from her immediate surroundings, including unexpected and ordinary places.  Aida lives in New York City with her husband and son.
